Basic Weatherfax reception

Hi all,
So... I don't know much about Hi-fi, sw, and ssb radio (just as a warning). I am trying to learn how to receive weatherfax transmissions via pc.
I have JVComm32 for my pc and a KA-1102 reciever. My real question is where do I find the proper frequencies to tune in? I am looking for stations broadcasting weatherfax images for the west coast of Mexico. Are they broadcast on short wave or ssb? I really have no idea what I'm doing, and would appreciate any advise that can be given.
I do plan on taking some sort of radio class before we leave in January.

Best

The list of worldwide stations, frequencies and schedules is here. Unless otherwise stated, assigned frequencies are shown so you must subtract 1.9Khz to get the frequency to tune your radio to.
