Hello Talbot, we just bought a Catalac 9 M 1976 this last December 15. The hull is great but we still have some work to do. Our ''Let's do it!'' doesn't have a ''doghouse'' or ''wheelhouse''. By any chance does yours have one? If so could you please send us the measurements? We will build one after installing the new mast ( the previous owner had cut it in 2 because it was bended!!!) Luckyly a Catalac's owner from Norway had the blueprints for the mast so we will have build one with those specifications. By the way if you need those blueprints I can send them to you. thanks. Merci. Christianne

    Dear Talbot,

I understand that you are a bit of an expert on the old nautech autohelm 3000. One came with my moody 30 and it just doesn't seem to work. I've followed the instruction manual to the letter but no luck. Is there somewhere that I can get it serviced?

    Dear Talbot,

Seems you know quite a bit about the catalac line of catamarans I just purchased a 8m catalac and was wondering how one would run the furling line so to be able to use it from the cockpit. The boat I purchased has it running along the side below the windows and it has too much friction to be used properly. Any suggestions?

    Thanks, Gennaro

    Talbot,
I've seen discussions here where you talk about your sight reduction forms - could I see some of them? I'm studying celestial navigation in preparation for the upcoming Newport-Bermuda race.
    Thanks.

I'm happy first mate asked what your avitar was...I had the same question. I need a magnifier also and I'm only 24 (sadness).

sounds funny - I'll have to get a magnifier (old age) and check this thing out.
