Average MPG with a 3.0L Mercury on a ..

What would be my average MPG on a 19' Stingray 195CS cabin cruiser with the Mercury 3.0L ran at its most efficient RPM?

And what RPM and speed would that be?

Idle, any speed above idle and your mileage goes down, Now just at the point just before you plane can be very poor mileage, but generally the faster you go, the more fuel per mile you will burn.
My single engine 175 HP Verado in a 21' CC would burn 8 GPH at 20 kts, I could sometimes get 3 MPG, but not usually. I doubt an inboard would be much more efficient

Quick answer is, it 'depends'. Boat weight and load, engine tune, propeller diameter/pitch and condition, speed traveled, wind and wave settings all affect your fuel consumption rate.
Important rule to follow is to divide your onboard fuel supply into thirds, 1/3 out, 1/3 at your destination and 1/3 to return home.

This is a educated guess but it will depend on water/wind conditions. On smooth water I would say 4.5mpg. On rough water it will drop. Maybe 3.5mpg or so.
