Unsuccessfully Googled both "jessica watson's mother's teeth" and "jessica watson's father's teeth".
Can I presum they're not exemplary?

I also note that most photo's of Jessica are mouth closed (even when smiling).
More good marketing?

How far shall we drift from the consequential issues?

Sure, just look at the topsides of her boat - no sign of seeking publicity there ...

I suspect user GordMay does not exist - it is just some very complex software that generates amusing responses to entertain us, while the real GordMay gets in touch with Jessica and soon will they be sailing away together, into the pinky sunset (with a brief but distinct blink of the green flash).

C'mon Gord, stand and deliver - have you, or haven't you, found the teeth?

;-)))

Funny, we are back to teeth now. Oz is the country to be in. Everything is private. You may hit with your boat a warship - or if it is more convenient a bulk carrier.
And afterwards they say - fortunately nothing has happened. The girl did not sleep, they (the ships) did not cross courselines and there was no damage at all.
I think that the intended voyage of young Jessica is no "Waltzing Mathilda" - so far, however, it looks to me more like the voyage of a "walkabout".

I have to say I'm really sick of the Aus media's misrepresentation of this.

Apparently she is about to make a second attempt at the circumnavigation.

AFAIK she never made a first attempt yet? She was sailing to Sydney on a shake down when the collision happened.

No I have no wish to be cruel. I wanted the girl to succeed, not to blunder!

FWIW, I think that the AMSA report was anonymously leaked to the media... still, it did seem to make pretty damning reading, from the little that I have seen.

T'was in the public interest.

Some polly probably thought the family would sit on the report so the email finger slipped on Outlooks Contacts! Damn computers! No one can trust them!

Why? I don't think you'd be interested in my answer.
