I prefer my Dickinson/planar combo, but know many people who have ran these units with success and nothing terrible to...

Curious if the 1/2” tubing is pex piping or rubber hose.

Pex pipe/fitting = crimp rings only.. agreed.

Did you use pex style barbed fittings by accident?

It sounds like those hose clamps are in a wee bit tight.

Proper size hose over right barb wont leak and doesn’t need any additional sealing...

OP I’m curious how the compression test was done on your engine. Was the engine warmed up?

19 bar is low compression. 25 bar Is minimum.
