In its Manual for the VWC 1200, Maxwell calls the aluminium bar a "lever". The lever is shown as item 30 in the parts diagram.

That's not helped by the lever being in the background of the parts...

On Led Myne, we have an electric Maxwell VWC 1200, with a wildcat for chain and a capstan for handling hawser.

I set up Led Myne with all chain for her best bower (primary bow anchor)...
