As an FYI, I have to agree with the OP, I simply can't take the DSC distress calls anymore. Almost every night - every time the Greek coast guard issue a PAN PAN, it goes off with gusto. Absolutely...

I installed the Cortex about a year aga and had similar problems with DCS and with the MOB feature. Somehow I was able to go into the settings and modify the MOB feature so it didn't keep going off....

Hey, the positive of the whole experience is we went out in the bay and anchored and looked what we hooked with out chain (in 20 knots and driving rain). Bonus!!
