Hurricanes chased me away... Haven't been back since. My dad picked up a 2' sand shark found in a pool after the hurricanes went through... Snap... swing.snap....swing.snap! EEEK they still give me goose bumps and chills and nightmares!

He he he he. Ok short story.

13 yrs old. We were living in FL. Gulf coast. Went fishing most days, catching all kinds of weird stuff (MN fishing as a kid, blue gills, trout and bass). Sharks... WOW! put a balloon on the line, BIG hook with some rotten chicken stuff, wing it into the surf... wait... see fin... balloon dissapears with foam trailing as your gear starts to "Whine" as it takes line out! tremendous fun.
But one day I was out on a floaty like yours.. just pas the sand bar.... BIG BLACK SHADOW goes under.... I got CHILLS... all I could think of was "SHARK!!!!!!".... Of course I did the sane thing and just Paddled and Kicked like a MAD MAN!!!! 1/2 way in I realize that it was a huge Sting Ray and not a shark. I still hit the beach running for my life.

Bummer, guess that's why the picture. I didn't notice it was deflating...
Save up.... or...find someone with a boat you like....? Hey there is more than "Ownership" to get into sailing. I know women that just belong to a club and rent when they want to sail. Granted with Cruising dreams.. that's not quite the way to go.

So... how do you sail the floating mattress??? =)

Roll up a corner? and try not to flip it? That's got to be a trick!

Cheers and happy "hump" day (wed don't ya know)

My hospital was just sold to the county, so pretty soon I'll work at a county charity hospital - which appeals to me. I have always had a soft spot for the homeless and the poor.
    Hope school is going well,
