Thank you for your post about the Wesco. It brought back some painful memories but also pride in what some consider the "other " Navy; the "Gator Navy", backbreaking brutal work ,often unrecognized and unglamorous. Thanks

Hi Gord, thanks now a know not to put clear coat on bottom paint. The shark will be above the waterline. Heres my plain ; paint the sides in some type of white marine paint. Then clear coat the sides. And then have a silhouette of shark taped off. Next mix green glow power into some clear coat and paint glow inside of shark stencil. The glow additive can not be seen in the day , it will only glow for 8 to 10hrs at dark.
The reason for first coat of clear on the sides is so the glow won't bleed into the white , for adhesion , touch-up ,etc..
It looks like now my biggest problem is finding a white marine paint that has a matching brand of clear coat that will work together.
    Thanks again.
    Steve.

Hi Gord, yes it is Max. He is a friend of my wife and I and we have sailed with him a few times over the last few months. He had dinner with us Saturday night and we waved him out of port on Sunday lunchtime. He fixed his position via the Delorme map share Sunday and Monday as arranged at 18:00 no word since. So I'm worried but pretty much unable to do anything bar wait to see if he arrives over the w/e or Monday / Tuesday next week

    Gord,
Hope all is well. Gales on Superior today/tonight I guess. Pulled the sailboat last Sunday. Dive boat is still in. Didn't make it to Thunder Bay or North Shore. Did spend a week in Newfoundland looking for a U-boat off of Cape Race. Beautiful place. No luck on the sub. Hope to see you next summer.

    Gord,
Leaving for Thompson Island and then on toward Rossport on Friday. Probably will not make it into Thunder Bay this year. Maybe will visit next year. Hope all is well.
