    First, enjoyed your page here. Very interesting, great photos, thank you. Next, getting ready to mail out winch bases. Need your address, thought you had already sent it but cannot locate it, must have misplaced it.

    sure, to me a Bahamian moor is two anchors off the bow, set at about 180 degrees apart, so the boat can swing freely, but in a reasonably tight circle. Used in the Bahamas (and other places) because of reversing tides, that way the anchor doesn't have to get re-set every six hours, instead the boat swings around and pulls on the other anchor.

    I use a minor modification where I don't keep the rodes tight, so the boat can move back by ~3:1 each time it swings the other direction, thereby imitating the short-scope boats in the anchorage.
