Panama and dog permit

Hi Cruisers,
Wondering if there are folks out there who have been through this scenario. We will leave from the US but go through Bahamas and possibly Jamaica before getting to Panama. So...we clearly will not meet the expectation of 10 days.
Will they still require the US health cert and validation of rabies shots and from the USDA? or a new health certificate from the Bahamas...or Jamaica. I know they have a home quarantine application...so the dog won't be able to get off the boat anyway???
