Great stuff Raven. Best of luck to you, though it doesn't sound as though you'll need it...

I think I've got it...
A Tornado has a telltale sign, known as a wall cloud.
It can produce one of the gnarliest things known to nature, and one hell of a gnarly ride.
Ladies and gentleman, may I present:
s.v. Gnar-Wall
(I guess I ended up going for a somewhat cute name after all, yet another surprise, but one that feels right)

Sweet, and it's a good name. I named mine s/v Candide......bet you'd never guess I'm a Philosophy guy. I work as a Social Networking consultant and drove truck for many years, but my degree is in Philosophy of Mind and Psychology.

Also, the Balboa 27 that belongs to one of the other solo guys I'll be sailing with, is s.v. Gnar-Crust.
Keeping with the fleet as well, kind of double duty name if you will.
As is tradition...

Love the name!
However, for this novice, please do explain the s/v? Does it mean sailing vessel?
/crossing my fingers I didn't screw that guess up. LOL

Yes, S/V is for sailing vessel, F/V is fishing vessel, etc. It helps to identify the type of boat you have when you use the radio.
