As a 19' Pocket Cruiser guy, I like your sig!

By the way, I came really close to buying a Westerly Nimrod.

I really like the Westerly quality. I have the original Lloyd's Register of Shipping documentation for mine. I thought that was pretty cool.

There is just something about Pocket/Micro Cruisers that really stirs me. At 22', mine may be big to some people, and it really is a big 22'er, but it was the one that I fell in love with even before it was restored by the PO.

There are some pictures of it before and after on my blog. S/V Second Chance (I've been slacking on the blog writing a bit! )

I can't see her as being a liveaboard for my wife and I, as well as my 2 dogs, but who knows, stranger things have happened!

My wife has agreed to do some coastal cruises with me though, and that's a step in the right direction!
Maybe it will lead to our Transition In Life.

(Sorry for the hijack!)

A 14-foot mini-cruiser is minimalist. A 19ft is comfortable, and anything much larger than a 25 borders on ostentatious.

Aloha Raven,
For boat names I like Whisper or even Raven.
You have a great boat there and there is nothing as important as knowing she'll stand up to high winds. You already know that.
Thanks for your service.
When you get round to it there is nothing like a basic sailing class if you are of the mind to do it.
kind regards,

Just a hint on the outboard. Don't let any ethanol fuel sit in the carb. Run the carb dry if you're not going to use it frequently. I've had lots of problems with ethanol fuel in both 2 stroke and 4 stroke small engines in the last couple years.

You have a great looking boat!

kind regards,
