Long time lurker here - figured it would be polite to introduce myself before I go posting.

My partner and I bought a 45' home built steel cutter rig cruiser and have been living aboard here in Australia for a while. The boat is solid, well-traveled and was well looked after by the previous owner but we are less well-seasoned so we're looking to build up experience slowly, starting with a trip up the east coast of Australia. Will decide where to next when we get there. Indonesia or the South Pacific are definite possibilities.
