Display all charts all the time?

Morning everyone,



New to OpenCPN and getting to know it a bit.



I recently purchased some KAP files of the Rio Dulce, Belize, MX and I am finding something very frustrating:



Each time I zoom out, all my charts disappear. I press the purple button in the bottom left and they come back- but it zooms me in. Then as I pan around, it slowly zooms me out and the charts start dropping off again.



I have OpenGL and quilting on. I installed the latest release.



I am trying to figure out- how do I force all the charts to show all the time?

If you are sure that you are with raster charts then play with Options|Display|advanced --> details zoom slider for raster (in your case).


Btw.: a screen shot would be helpful?


Purple - you are talking about the chart piano below? - does make me suspect that those are mbTiles, not generic .kap BSB charts.
What is the source of the charts?
