Hello from Louisiana

Just a quickie about myself! ! I have been on a 20+ year layoff of sailing because of kids and wife. I did sail back in my early 20's and enjoyed it very much, had a Catalina 27. After a trip to Florida and a evening sailboat rental with the wife, she also fell in love with the tranquility of sailing. We returned home and bought a small Dory Typhoon and use it on local lakes. After looking for a larger boat I found a Kirie Elite 25 and bought it after having a buddy check it out, I have not even seen it in person. The boat needs some love but is very sound and for the price, couldn't pass it up. So at work now until the 26th dreaming of the things I want to do to her, the boat that is. I have put up 2 more post trying to gather information on the Kirie because their is not alot of information on the internet about it. Reading about the larger Kirie boats, they seem to be made rather well, hope the same is true with the smaller ones. Hope everyone has full sails and sunny days.

Re: Hello from Louisiana

Hi FB and welcome to the forum,

Confess I know nothing at all about the Kirie but I'll bet someone on the forum will be able to help.

Have fun with the new boat.

Thanks for the welcome and don't worry, I don't really know anything about the Kirie either. LOL
