Been searching and reading for a long time and finally decided to join.
My husband and I just purchased a 1982
Bluewater 47' coastal cruiser.
We haven't actually taken possession of her yet and won't until he returns from a business trip to
Singapore in a few weeks. We've been looking for about a year and were unsure at first what we wanted but we saw this
boat and fell in love. The
current owners are liveaboards and he has updated the
interior beautifully and refinished all of the
teak. She's in great shape for her age.
We are not new to
boats but we are new to this size and type of
boat so we have a lot to learn. But for what we plan to use it for, I think it will be perfect for us.
I'm sure my husband will be joining too when he has a bit of time.
