Hello Everyone...

I'd like to do the courteous thing and offer a quick introduction rather than anonymously leech advice and insight from behind a computer screen.

Landlocked mountain dweller here, seriously looking to transition to life aboard for at least a short period (maybe 12-24 months). Currently focused on a spring 2016 transition. I realize that this isn't an easy thing, considering that I have a wife and small child, so I'd like to take the next couple years to learn all that I can and get my ducks in a row.

Rather than state my plans here, I'll create threads on the appropriate boards. Thanks in advance for your help and support.

Re: Hello Everyone...

Aloha and welcome aboard!
If you haven't started sailing yet I'd recommend a basic sailing course and read the book "Start Sailing Right!"
