Greetings from Croatia

Hello to everyone,

My name is Stipan and I own Scorpio 31 foot Polish made sail boat. I bought it cheap after sinking and it has been my project last 3 years.

I am marine electrician by profession and now I am stuck with hydraulic steering problem(more in thread below), and that is why I am here, looking for answers.

Hopefully I will try to participate in electrical topics, and be active on this forum, since I enjoy refurbiseingand repairind it, as much I love sailing.

Happy holidays to everybody!

Stipan

Hi Stipan
I think there is no solution for your „rudder feedback“ issue when going hydraulic. You can make it stiffer, but still no feedback.

The reduction of turns of the wheel can be solved as you described... but is it worth it? Sail out of Barnica a lot and you will get used to it.
