G'day everyone
G'day all,
I have a forty foot fc bilge keel sloop, live in South East Queensland onboard I'm new to yachting and love the lifestyle

None of them were Aussies so were not sure what G'Day meant.
Welcome to the forum KaylaGrace. More details would be good, this place is packed full of boat nerds and we mostly want to know what you sail.
It makes it easier for us to tell you what you are doing wrong.

Yeah, g'day mate. If you like it in SE Qld you'll go catonic when you go north.

Yeah when we bought the boat up north we purchased it in Bowen we watch some DVDs on sailing, then we sail down to Burrum Heads and have been here ever since, is a picture of her being barnacled

Very nice, Looks a bit like an Alan Wright design, but I didn't think he dabbled in FC. Those twin keels are very practical, and FC can be a great low maintenance material if it is built properly and looked after.

Yeah, built in NZ, is an Alan Wright design,built under a shed in waikita, (by pro plasterers) or something like that, your the first one who has said that, others have said Roberts or a couple of other designs, can't think of them at the moment

Welcome. Nice lookin' yacht. (We came within days of buying a Reinke twin keel, then my dad passed and she had a deposit on her a few days later. )
