Question Belgian Sailor in Greece

Hello, I'm Frederik and with my wife or friends we have spent our holidays (2-3 weeks a year) on sailing for over 30 years on the mediterranean and the atlantic (Bretagne/Guernsey/Jersey and Holland). We built up a very good experience in the south of France, Greece, Croatia, Turkey and the Baleares.
We will make a sailing trip this year from Bodrum to Santorini, and I would be happy if I can have additional information on nice harbours and anchoring places, as it is 5 years ago that I did already this southern trip.
I am especially worrying about Vlikadha south of Santorini; I have been there twice with a Bavaria 44 and had no problem about depth. This time we would like to come with a Bavaria 50 and try to find some place in this very small and shallow harbour. I hope I can also be helpful to other sailors in giving some info on the places were we have been, the weather conditions, and the nicest spots.
I hope this site will be very useful for that !

Re: Belgian Sailor in Greece

Hi Frederik and welcome to the forum.
I am a bit north in Lesvos at the moment. I have not been to Thira, but there was a thread a few weeks ago (try a search for Santorini) about the marina and the conclusion was that you need a draft of well under 2m to get in.
I am planning to head south as the Meltemi sets in so maybe we will catch up.
