Anyone Seen This Boat In Person?

First of all: There is no building of series in the Yard of the Vries. De Vries in combo with Royal Van Lent form together the FEADSHIP organisation. Under this name both yachts were marketing there ships in the US (and elsewhere).

De Vries is together with Van Lent, now Royal Van Lent de most prominent Dutch yachtbuilder, on same level of uniqueness.

Had this boat been in Holland, she was sold in a second, unconditional state.

Big question is maintenance. If the photo' s are correct that must be reasonable.
Underwatership and wind/waterline the most vulnerable part, as well as the teak deck.

It' ll cost quite a bundle to maintain this sort of yachts and I presume that little maintenance had been effectuated. The better, if I am wrong in my assumption.

Wow, what a liveaboard. 6 cabins. One for me, rent the other 5. Five nursing students at $ 500/month would offset the costs. Sounds like a plan.

It would cost more than my sailboat cost, to fill the 3800 gallon diesel tank with fuel. Several years maintenance is going to cost the price of the boat if there is nothing wrong with her. First years maintenance and repairs could be astronomical.

There are holes in the water and big holes in the water. This is a very big deep hole.

Looking at the boat website I noticed a shipping calculator. For fun, I punched in my zip code in Nebraska. About 2000 miles away, across deserts and mountains. How funny. They would charge three times that to sit it on a trailer!!!!!

thankfully we will not be going to buy the nice little ship.

You would have been better off with that Ocean Alexander 60 in Corpus Christi that went for $140K. After a refit, they are asking $300K.

There's a steel trawler at the end of 3 pier in Port A that's a steal (steel)...
