A recent thread had input from a forum member Gadagirl regarding an organization dedicated to preserve and enhance the health of our oceans.

I watched for the first time a documentary "Mission Blue" and I was very much moved. Because, as with the observations of Dr. Sylvia Alice Earle I have observed in my lifetime the degradation of coral reefs and sea life. She's an amazing pioneer scientist in oceanography, biology, etc. Very well accomplished, If you are unable to view the documentary, I'd urge you to read up on her.
