Wink Water in tanks

Hi to all in the forum.
Could be a stupid question. If it is going to leave 2 or 3 months or more the boat in the Caribbean is it preferable to leave the water tank empty or full?
Thank you for your opinions
Rafa

Re: Water in tanks

I personally would empty it. I wouldn't want to be drinking water that has sat for 2 or 3 months in hot weather.

Re: Water in tanks

When I leave the boat for a length of time exceeding two weeks, I always empty the water tank. Watermaker produced water, no chlorine, so I like to keep it moving. Chlorinated, it's probably safe to go much longer but you'd definitely get a tank taste to it.
