I am looking to buy a boat that I can live in longterm. I am also looking for a boat that I can take out in the ocean singlehandedly. Being completely new to sailing and not even having done the courses, at first I'll keep it moored in NSW, Australia, then take it up and down the coast and only after a year or so and much learning take out out to New Zealand. I have a dog that lives with me. My budget is about $200,000 to $300,000. I guess I would also have to pay for the boat to be shipped to Australia. Any idea how much that would cost? Any idea on what would be the best boat to buy? I am female and not very strong in the arms.
