Addendum: Also would like similar infor as to travel on the Chesapeake Bay.

Re: Information Source

I live on the Chesapeake and almost always use the Waterway Guide Explorer feature on their website to get an initial look at a place or area I'm planning to visit.

Notice the 'Destinations' item at the top of the web page. You can select that and narrow the geographic area on the next page, and then a ribbon of geo-relevant articles will show on the 3rd page.

Since I spend so much time on the Bay, I carry a printed version of their Bay Guide, but I don't always have it handy when I'm planning my next outing. Further, it's easier for me to view the web guide to extract the info I need while I have my plan working in OpenCPN than to flip through the pages of a guide.
