I need help planning the future.

Love the unused dock idea, I'm looking for options for the same arrangement basically. Leaving a boat on a mooring seems like a bad idea without a good friend to keep an eye on it. Sounds like wishful thinking but could that unused dock owner be a capable sailor who uses the boat, all insurance in place of course, and it is free? That would take a level of trust hard or impossible to find on CL.

Can you suggest a good search method to find fractional or shared ownership? I would like to check into it but they seem to be very far and few between (understandably but maybe I just haven't found the right search yet).
Also - Suggestions for best places to find boats looking for temporary crew would be appreciated.
