Re: Single Ky. lady looking for a sailor
This thread is starting to make me want to take a shower. I'm starting to feel dirty.
People joining the forum just to post they're interested. Hello, 20/20, yeah, I've got a story to tell you.

U have to admit his post was entertaining… even if he has been lonely too long. Creative.

I'm looking for a man who loves to sail and enjoys the water. I'm from Kentucky and this is a difficult person to find here. I'm 54 and in good shape and good health. I'm educated and financially secure. I once lived on a Catamaran for about 8 months in USVI and BVI. I'd love to live on the water again or near it.
Anyone single here?

Re: Single Ky. lady looking for a sailor
Ya know, guys, considering the number of posts we get from lonely blokes who quest after a sailing lady, I think making the judgement that this is a scam or a troll is kinda harsh.
It may sound ingenuous, but crikeys, not all of us are good at presenting ourselves. Yes, it could be trollish, but it could also be genuine, and a welcome possibility for some chap.
Give the lady a chance to expand her thoughts, either privately or in the thread, before condemning her. I hope she's for real and that some CF singlehander gets a sailing partner.
Jim

Re: Single Ky. lady looking for a sailor
I admire this woman for reaching out, and I admire the boaters who have responded and also those who have yet to respond.
Life can be much better with the right companion in your life, much more fun and much more meaningful.
Looks to me like some lucky sailor could connect with a terrific woman.
I sincerely wish them nothing but blue skies, fair winds and all the luck in the world.
Sail on, Kentucky Lady. Sail on.

Please post your boat specs so we can have a better understanding of what we are getting ourselves into.
