Christmas on Lake Macquarie NSW

New to the area of lake mac boating and will be here over Christmas. Is there anywhere that the boats go Christmas Day ? In the Hawkesbury they have refuge bay where everyone meets up ,swims etc! What are the spots for Lake Macquarie? Great swimming spots etc. On 40 ft cruiser

Welcome aboard CF, Erin.

We have taken people swimming at Pulbah Is. in the past. Ours is a sailboat, really too deep draft for L. Macquarie, and haven't been back in for a long time. The scene in Refuge Bay is unique unto itself.
