Re: Any Photographers with DSLR's Around ?

Great thread and photos. We have had a G15 for a few years and really like it. This last month I've finally decided to make the leap with both feet and have purchased a Sony A7R. I actually purchased the A7S a few weeks ago but after taking about 100 shots returned it. It was proclaimed as a very low light camera and it may well be, but when the ISO is boosted so high the shots became worthless. Now I'm in a wait mode for Sony to ship me the R. I'm getting the 70-200 f4, 55mm f1.8, and 18 - 105 f4. I'm also thinking about getting an adapter for A to E mount lenses and a Sigma 150 - 500 f5. This is a relatively cheap super-telephoto that could come in handy for our travels.

My last option on a lens it a Sony 10-18 f4. I'm confused on this lens though as it isn't a full frame lens and in the reviews there is a comment that with a full frame camera it will be a 15 - 27mm. I read the spec's differently so if anyone actually knows the answer I'd appreciate it.
Wide Angle Lens - Best 10-18mm Ultra Wide Angle Lens SEL1018 - Sony US

It's been 30 years since I bought my last SLR, an old Nikon. I really can't wait to get this going. I've never spent so much time studying for a purchase. I hope to post a few marginal photos soon.
