how long to get reinstatement papers from uscg

So I've got the sailboat, we have to leave soon, 2- months, and moving away from the address I've been been using. Do I set up an address in the keys (if so is it possible to do so without driving down there) where I will be for 6 months or so? Or are these things universally turned around through uscg pretty quickly?

And yes we plan on going overseas.

Any input you can give on experiences you've had with vessel documentation is greatly appreciated.

Lastly if you call, they are very good at explaining what you need to do.
i needed to have my Document re-issued. it took a couple months, but they told me that marina accept the email from them saying my document is being processed and they did.
