Rudder Post Stuffing Box

Do you know what kind of stuffing box this is and how do you stop it leaking. It is on a Tartan 4600 1996.

Re: Rudder Post Stuffing Box

Are your bearings tight, or does the rudder wiggle around. If it's wiggling it will never seal. If not, repack it.
