Tom Cruise probably set the fire. Nothing is allowed to leave the Scientology fold, not even davits.

Oh man, that's awful. My condolences. I hope you rake in a pile of money on this and get set for maintenance for life!

I'd be really happy if they just made things right, like grown men. But they are a megacorp, so they will behave like children instead. It looks like it will be a long time before we are made whole, if ever. Wish I could fill you guys in on the details, but I'm sure the lawyers would advise against that.

Re: Nauticat 52 Refit
I know a fellow who is an advocate for people with ins. claims. He helped a friend with a burglary claim and did some amazing things. He lives in the area and coincidently he owned a Nauticat so he appreciates quality. His name is Bill Ballard, his office# is (253)549-7374. You could give him a call and see what he thinks, maybe could help? wouldn't hurt. Tell him Gary from Oro Bay says "hi"

Tough breaks, this is a hard thing to swallow. My deep condolences.
Is this megacorp the same hand that feeds, ie, your employer? Wasn't your boat in the yard of your employer?

Art indeed.. The only argument to this.... is that not everybody can appreciate a particular piece of art...

I think your mum stance on publicly documented rants/explanation/description/asswhoopin/etc... is the best avenue... inciting the torch bearing lynch mob at this time seems counterproductive !

Re: Nauticat 52 Refit
I just spent two days in awe going through this amazing thread. As a tradeswoman, I very much appreciated the level of craftsmanship and skill that went into this project. Wow!
And my heart broke when I heard the news.

Thank you. Perhaps I should get around to finishing this thread. I'm back at work full time, in a new position at a different yard. Very busy, but the holidays approach. Maybe I'll find the time...

As someone who has benefited from not only this thread, but also all the individual help and advice you offered on my project, I say thank you and have a great Thanksgiving.
