Moisture meter

Wish my surveyor used one of these but he didn't.

I have a few spots that I suspect have an issue but would like to verify with moisture meter.

I would like to buy one but don't think Its worth having on 31ft boat all the times. Leaning on the saying "If you need it once rent it, if you need it twice buy it". I'm hoping I only need it once but who knows. Cruisers carry these very often?

Anyone in Seattle have access to one I could bribe with beer and rum?

Thanks,
-Jared

Re: Moisture meter

I bought an Electrophysics unit. Be careful using on deck. Much of my deck can read wet from outside. The reading is skewed by fillers, non-skid etc. I took down the headliners and narrowed the wet area to about 30% of what the deck readings suggested. When I dug in (from inside) I followed the wet into the dry and found the inside measurements to be correct. Saved me a lot of time and worry.

Sure, pop by or PM me and we'll get some readings.

It's super easy to find, Home Depot carries it. Order it here if you like.
