Bulkheads on a 73 ensenada 20

I have this problem where the previous owner ripped out most of what's inside my boat but the galley . So my question were the bull heads on a boat of this size structural? Were they just to support the berth? Aft of the galley there were two bench berths . Do I need to replace everything to the way it was ?Click image for larger version

Yes they are structural. Lyle Hess was a respected architect and you can take it to the bank that those bulkheads were placed strategically to maintain the integrity of the hull shape.
