Custom color for vinyl tape?

I'm replacing the old boot stripe on Terrapin. I want to try to match as closely as possible the new canvas work which is Sunbrella "Palm" shade of green. The only vinyl tape I can find comes in a couple of stock shades of green, but not very close to what I want. Does anyone know of a source of more custom colors in vinyl tape?

Any sign shop can provide the color of your choice. Normally cheaper than the marine sources.

Agreed with a sign shop. Also, maybe advertisements on Craigslist.

If you could please, when you end up getting the vinyl tape on the boat, please follow-up with the technique you used and what you'd recommend to others.

I used a vinyl sign shop for a large logo on the bow of the boat, but they printed that using a printer, so any color was possible. I didn't think printing on a 150 foot roll of 1" vinyl tape would be cost effective, but I will check.

Jerry, just realize that if it is a very light green color, it will not be legible very far away. Peoples' eyes need contrast, especially if the letters are only 4" high.
