Try contacting Arco-Hutton in Sydney, Australia. they have most Barient parts.

Re: Barient Winch Handle

Well..... That was at least worth trying. No bananas. Perhaps someone else has replaced their Barlow or Barient winch handle spring???

I really don't want to throw the handle away. A fifty cent spring is all it needs. If only I knew what it looks like.

Anyone?

Thanks!

Re: Barient Winch Handle

Here is the data on the spring....
Don’t know if the spring pushed on a ball or cylindrical “plunger”. Would have to take another handle apart to look.

Length is 14.2mm
Diameter is 3.8mm

Rgds.

Re: Barient Winch Handle

Thanks for the info. My first try to use a "generic" spring was marginal. I'll keep at it though.
