Yanmar Injection Pump

I need some help with a yanmar 3hm35. I have always found a wealth of information here, so here goes.
The problem: went to restart engines after winter shut down. stbd engine started fine, however rebuilt 2 years ago.
port engine unknown history, however always seemed to run fine for past 3 years. I believe it is in injection pump. started at source and worked my way out, filters clean, replaced feed pump, have great fuel flow to injection pump. cracked hard lines at fuel pump, nothing. Removed hard lines and cranked engine, hardly any fuel appears out of pump. based on manual schematics and that all 3 valves not pumping, could it be fuel cam not turning on shaft (keyway broken) ? or something inside pump??
I did search the threads and the only thing I did and hope hasn't caused a problem is that seacock was open while cranking engine. When engine didn't start right away, I didn't think to close seacock while trouble shooting.
Can anyone help, sure would appreciate any input.
Thanks!
Clif

1. Make sure stop lever is not engaged.

2. Esure that throttle lever moves the lever on the injection pump.

3. with all injector nut cracked open..advance the throttle and have someone turn the engine over....observe for foaming/fuel spurt.

in the side of the timing cover where the throtle lever goes in. You should have an inspection plate. Remove this plate and look in. You'll see a pin in a fork. Try to slide it fore and aft.

Thanks for the input. I will be out to the boat this weekend and look in that inspection cover. I'm hoping it'll be that lever. Will keep you posted.
