Mechanic Recommendations

We are currently in the Fort Myers area and continuing to refit Beach House for cruising. We have some work we would like done on our Ford Lehman and on our Paragon Transmission. Does anyone know of a good qualified mechanic for either in this area? Recommendations are appreciated. Chuck

Chuck,
Should you be unable to find a good marine mechanic I would suggest going to the local feed store and find out who has tractors that have the same engine you do. The mechanic that keeps them running will know more than some of the so called "marine mechanics on the dock". A straight six flat head like Lehman is not a big challange and neither is the trannie. Most Florida farmers are kind and helpful so don't be bashfull.
