Engine oil extraction

I broke my vacuum oil extractor a few days ago. I didn't mind too much since it wasn't that great any way. I'm now looking for a replacement and would like to get some opinions on electric extractors like this one

Does anyone have a favorite that they would recommend?

I prefer to use a separate pump rather than one with it's own collector vessel - the reasons are that I like to re-use old empty oil containers that way I can just drop them off at the reclamation place rather than get them to empty my container. But also if I dont have opportunity to discard used oil, and I need to do a second oil change, I don't want to have the pump tied to a full container with old oil while I pump out oil into some other container, etc., etc. - long winded explanation. West Marine sells hand operated oil extractor's.
I have one, it works like a champ. Stick a hose down the dipstick tube, give it a few pumps and up comes the oil.
They come in different sizes, mine holds about a gallon or so.
Amazon has various models for around $60-70.

Slow boat and 100 hour change interval, means i’m doing oil changes on the road. Vacuum pumps r a no brainer, but used oil filters a bit more painful to properly dispose off.
Both engines used oil fits in the vacuum can.

I'm like Jordan, pump directly into the disposal container, an empty 1 gallon oil jug.

But I have essentially only one tube to worry about dripping after the job by using one of these:

By cutting the intake hose short, maybe 3 inches, I am able to stick that short end into the mouth of the empty oil jug and hold the pump and oil jug in one hand, and pump away.

Oil capacity is only about 2 1/2 quarts (times 2 engines). If it were much more, I might consider the electric pump

+1 for not have the container included. If you live anboard, then you have limited storage space. Why use it for something you just use once in a while.

don't last forever but at the price...who cares. my current one has done 12 oil changes and still going strong

but the best part is these pumps can extract more oil COLD than a mechanic with a manual vacuum extractor can extract when oil is HOT
