Wonder if you ever figured out whey your sail drive would not operate in reverse intermittently? I'm having the same issue and it's worrisome when docking as you said.

My engine hush box article was published in the March/April 2013 issue of Ocean Navigator magazine. It may be available online. If not, I can email the original text to you. Your engine installation manual will give you the required figures for intake and outlet. Size the airflow based on maximum sustained RPM to build in a safety margin. Harry

I actually meant that the mast, boom and rigging are lighter on the after Mayotte to Voyage. I do not know if the hull is lighter or not, but I would assume that it could be since they were built mainly for the charter trade.
