Engine mounts for Peugeot Indenor DTP 50

I'd like to replace the Silent Blocks on my Indenor DTP 50 Diesel.

My local dealer says the only "original" parts available are $1500.-.

Has anybody got some experience with this? I'm wondering if some cheap alternative from VETUS or similar would do the job exactly the same or even better.

Thank you!

There is bound to be some aftermarket engine mount manufacturers in the Eu.
Google is your friend here.
They can usually make you up something based on the weight of your engine if they dont have the specific ones.
Hopefully someone from your part of the world chimes in.
Good luck with your search.

Hesre's an example from Go2marine:

Here's the Google image page, with at least hundreds:

The point is that Peugeot did not design a propriatory engine mount for your engine. They took an appropriate one off the shelf. You may be able to find the industrial item by image, or at least find another that works for its weight. The same goes for starters, throttles, water pumps, and the like. Peugeot stocks some of the off-the-shelf items, and charges stunning prices for them (So does Westerbeke for Kubota parts it uses). Go find the industrial source. Good luck with it.

Yeah, in the meantime I took some measurements of the engine feet and the old mounts and it seems to me that thats pretty much the same as any other similar Diesel engine and its mounts. Will perhaps just order some dampers from Vetus that fit the weight and try out.
