Yep, 99.99% chance. Your water pump is frozen up and needs to be replaced.

Re: Belt squealing

I just replaced the sea water pump brand new... so the top wheel looking at the engine straight on is a fresh water pump?? Picture uploaded sideways

Picture uploaded sideways.

Yeah..we saw that, it looked like front of an engine sideways. Your water pump needs replacement/repair, depends.....take it out and investigate.

So is there a raw and a fresh water pump on this engine? Sorry to ask... No manual or anything.

Re: Belt squealing

Trace the routeof water from the seacock. Raw water will go to a pump, to a heat exchanger, and overboard. Coolant will not have a seacock, and will be routed all over the engine including through a water pump and the heat exchanger. It's what 90% of your short bits of hose do.

If when you do this you don't find a heat exchanger and only one pump, you are raw water cooled, but that is not likely.

In your picture there are two large diameter hoses coming from the pump. Does one of them go to a seacock and one to a heat exhanger? - raw water. Do they both enter the engine somewhere? - coolant.

Re: Belt squealing

Further figuring out your manual-less engine. The belt goes around tour crankshaft (bottom), water pump (top left) and alternator (right top). Man, that alternator has been around awhile. Your belt is and "AX", meaning "A" profile and cogged to go around small pulleys, which doesn't really look necessary in your case.

How about cleaning off that green and white label hidding behind the belt, find out what sort of engine this is, and get a manual?

Additionally to the comments above, from the pics it appears your belt is sitting too low in the pulley groove and most likely not the correct width for those pulleys. The belt should be level w/the top of the pulley edge or slightly above (depending who you talk with about belts). Also if there is any corrosion on the pulleys where the belt will hit, you may want to take some emery cloth and sand it smooth. This will increase the life of your belt.

Re: Belt squealing

Did you change the belt and go slightly wider?

Re: Belt squealing

From the pics it didn't look like the belt was riding correctly in the pulley V.

When you replace the belt next time it should sit like this:
