Anyone Recognise This Heat Exchanger

Anyone Recognise this heat exchanger???

I found it on a boat I just bought with a Yanmar 2QM20 but I've just realised its not an original from Yanmar.

It was mounted on the side of the engine compartment, the second picture I've attached

The engine has been run without the heat exchanger, I plan on reconnecting it but curious to know if anyone has some info on it.

This was made by Sendure. They used to make heat exchanger kits to adapt to the raw water cooled Yanmar and Volvo diesels.

Awesome, thanks a lot for that.

I can't think why the previous owner would want to run the engine without it.

I think I've solved the mystery. A heat exchanger isn't much good without a fresh water pump.
