Re: Two sets of tools

One set for the boat, one for the house, the shop, the work truck, GF's house...

I could sell them & buy a bigger boat ;-)

Re: Two sets of tools

We have a basic set on each level
Better more complete set where it counts.

Re: Two sets of tools

3 sets, one on the boat in France, one huge collection in my Malaysian workshop and one set here in Australia. Totally unplanned, it just evolved out of necessity at each location.

Re: Two sets of tools

One at the house
One on the boat
One in the rv

Each is different due to what they need and I really hate getting to the boat and finding out I left a needed tool elsewhere

Re: Two sets of tools

I keep 3 sets of tools, electrical tools in port hull, plumbing tools in starboard hull and mechanic set in a cockpit locker. They won't all fit together.

Re: Two sets of tools

I'm a tool junky.....if one wrench will do the job, two will do it better...

Selling one boat and moving on to another, I had to move my stash of tools.

I did not realize what a mind blowing collection of tools, parts, nuts and washers, and other odds and ends I had.

If I see a nut on the ground, I'll pick it up, thinking "I might need that one day"

Maybe " junky" is not the correct word..
