Top/down furler

I have an asym spin that we use for downwind now, how much addional merit would a genniker bring ?

More details on sails would help. Or do you thinking to use the top down furler with a gennaker? I used top downs on 3 different Code A2/1/0 sails Now I have a IFS Gennaker and it is a joy to furl / unfurl without any anti-torrsion rope. Would sell the Furler and invest into a IFS :-)
