Dropped tiny plastic straw into rudder tube - Safety Hazard?

While lubricating the rudder, on my Bavaria 46 sailboat, I accidentally dropped the spray lubricant straw into the rudder tube. Dumb; I know.

QUESTION: Should I be concerned that the straw may create a safety hazard or will it be crushed and disintegrated over time through regular steering/use of the rudder?

The plastic is probably poly and will like not bind anything. You’ll probably never notice it, nor will your rudder. I could only wish that were the dumbest thing I’ve ever done.
