I know this issue has been addressed here, I just can't find the thread, what marina's can haul and store a 23' 6" catamaran, between the FL GA border and the Norkfolk VA?

There is a place somewhere around Savannah i believe that can haul decent size cats... They used to have a Leopard 40 on the hard there...

Re: Catamaran Haul Out Facilities

I think multihulls4us has a section with multihull friendly boatyards.
Might be a bit out of date though.

Pensacola shipyard in Pensacola, Fl can also do catamarans and trimarans. And unless things have changed they allow you to work on your own boat if you wish to do the work yourself.

Deltaville Boat yard in Virginia - a little north of Norfolk - can handle a Catana 431

Re: Catamaran Haul Out Facilities

GUNBOAT in Wanchese, NC can handle up to 40' wide with its new ramp, yard and marina. Cats are hauled via a hydraulic trailer. If you are below 65' in air-draft, come in the Oregon Inlet. If over, come in at Hattaras Inlet. Our service team will begin their first few projects this year.

Happy to find this thread. I Just bought a Condor-40 and will be bringing her down the coast this fall. Nice to know where I can get haul out done.

Re: Catamaran Haul Out Facilities

Another option is to find a yard and just hire a large crane with a spreader bar. Cranes cost about $200 per hour so haul and launch might run $800, but you can choose your marina.

Re: Catamaran Haul Out Facilities

Good list. A few additions:

Harbortown Marina in Ft Pierce, FL. Max beam on their TravelLift is 30' I think. Full-service, DIY allowed.
Harbortown Marina - Ft. Pierce, Florida - A Full Service Marina.

Snead Island Boatworks in Palmetto, FL. It's a rail, not sure of the max beam. Full-service, no DIY.

Rock Harbor Marina in Key Largo, FL. TravelLift. 28'6" max beam. DIY. Our Travel Lift in Action
