Good luck to whoever buys it! I asked the seller (ebay) for more info and he sent me a weird pdf detailing his idea for a tv show and life with vague mentionings of the catamaran.....

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

Privilege Picture 3 shows the new rudder post, galv steel pipe, glassed into holes through the bridge deck. A 9.5hp outboard jury rigged is included. I predict another salvage operation if this boat leaves the dock. Shame, nice boat. Same weird info from seller. Reserve met, at $35K now. Going going.....

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

We passed on a privilege 39 @ 45k it had 2running Volvo's, full suite of decent sails . and steerage. I can't imagine that boat not needing a 100k in work to be cruise able, and considering where it is could cost even more.

I made a run at that Privilege 39 soon after their accident. I had lots of pictures, and had a long conversation with the yard where the boat was hauled. I contacted the owners by email, and made a serious offer based on my honest opinion of it's value, and told them I was prepared to go get the boat. From the tone of her email reply, they were insulted. Best of luck to the ebay buyer...

that boat was offered to a friend of mine for 10K after the yard did the patchups. The only viable thing seemed to be if you had a small trawler to tow it with back to FL. That was almost exactly 1 year ago. Was maybe worth 80-90K pre damage.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

Looks like the ebay buyer backed out (as expected at that price) as the privilige was reposted to craigslist.

Also a few more: woody brown cat looks nice https://honolulu.craigslist.org/mau/boa/5492820752.html

Brown 31 in the bay area 31' sea runner brown trimaran

Unfinished 30ft cat in bc (if anyone can figure out the design, would be interesting to hear what it is) 30' Catamaran Under Construction

The link to the Searunner isn't working now.
Was this located in Tiburon or Napa, by any chance? Thanks.

BTW, that 65-foot catamaran literally made me gasp out loud! How did they attach the train car to the top?
