33 foot lil' Gunboat?

Is there any sailing catamaran in existence that's about 15 feet shorter than the smallest Gunboat being produced? I'm looking for something with all the attributes of the Gunboat, only smaller---something in the 33 foot or 10 meter range. The Moxie 37 comes close with the weight-saving design and forward facing cockpit but falls short in that it hasn't closed off the bridgedeck salon where one can cook/eat/navigate/lounge and also lacks inside/outside helming. I can't be the only one asking for a lil' Gunboat--if there is indeed something like this let me know

Not sure you want a forward cockpit with much smaller than a 42. Check out:

If you want that small go for a monohul. How about the Wally Nano.

What specific Gunboat qualities do you want in a smaller boat? The only production boat that comes to my mind is the Seawind 1000 Seawind Catamarans
If you want kevlar and carbon construction, then you'll probably have to make your own - there are plenty of performance designs; try Oram, Schionning or Woods - check out the Mira 35: Woods Designs Sailing Catamarans
If you're hoping for luxurious accommodations, then I think you'll need to revise your expectations. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestions, though I'm aware of these designers. I did fail to mention the Chris White 42 footer but, again, it'd be great to have this in a 32-33 foot size. My quest is to find the minimum size cat with all the attributes of the Gunboats or White designed 42 but smaller--clearly a 33 footer isn't going to have the accommodations or payload capability of a bigger boat. One attribute this 33 footer doesn't have to share with a Gunboat or Moxie 37 is carbon fiber construction--surely more cost effective materials could be used with only modest weight penalty (I don't need or want to be able to go 30 knots or fly a hull).

I would add the PDQ32 to the list. If it is kept light and fitted with good sails it is a quite a good sailing boat. I frequently sail at double digit speeds.

I would be surprised if Chris White does not have at least the start of a plan that size. Might be worth a call.

Maybe contact Phil Berman with the Multihull Company. He had a small, ultra-light cat at the Miami Boat show. I'm sorry but I can't remember who built it. It weighed 7000lbs and had the forward helm position like a Chris White design. It was REALLY expensive but he said the builder was highly motivated to sell it.

When you get under 38 feet or so, catamaran cabins start becoming a very tight squeeze. It may not be worth putting any sort of a cabin on 33 foot cat. Its will end up being more of a crawl space where you are hunched over, more similar to a 20 foot monohull.

I'm not sure that a forward cockpit is a good thing on such a small boat.
Remember, small means wet, and 3/8 inch acrylic has got wet weather gear beaten hands down. If you like the gunboats fore and aft cockpit idea then there isn't going to be a lot of room left for a cabin.

I'd also love to know what cats you've been aboard which motivated the above comment????? Are you 7 feet tall? In which case you'd need to buy the Queen Mary in any case.

I have 6'5" headroom in hulls and cabin and know your comment simply is not true.

Too lightly built. If you weigh 200 lbs, you'll feel the decks and cockpit flex as you walk around on brand new boats.
